PowerNET! Network Structure

  1. Base stations send their raw data through high speed internet links to Sokkia's PowerNET! server
  2. All data is processed and adjusted within a network configuration
  3. Rovers connect to the network via their built-in GSM (cellular) modems and provide their approximate position
  4. PowerNET! server then allocates the closest base station to the rover or, a "virtual base station" is assigned within the network
  5. Corrected data is sent to the rover to achieve centimeter level accuracy (RTK fix)
