Sokkia's Planning Software is an integral part of the Spectrum Survey Suite package.

With Planning, you can determine the availability of satellites at any time of day by setting up GPS receiver parameters in your office.

The software is per-configured with thousands of cities, detailed coastlines, plus political and geographical boundaries. Planning software is also compatible with a wide range of Sokkia GPS receivers, including the GRX-1,  GSR2700 ISX, GSR2700 IS, GSR2600 and Stratus.

Planning is based on Almanac files (Satellites' trajectories and schedules) . Almanac files can be obtained through stored static data from receivers or third part sources.
