Compasses/Clinometers images

Compasses

  • Quality, professional compasses
  • Accuracy of 10' (1/6°)
  • Temperature-resistant liquid
  • Shockproof housing for durability
  • Needle pivoted on polished sapphire with non-wear bearing assembly
  • Factory balanced against magnetic inclination
  • No projecting or adjustable parts for one-handed, easy operation
  • Available in standard, reverse and quadrant scales of graduation
  • 8024-30  Round Lens with Four-Fold Magnification Triangular and round holes for control marking; arrows indicate direction of travel; four-second damping
  • 8024-42  Gear-Operated Declination Adjustment System Graduated 0-360° with two-degree intervals; parallax error can be eliminated by means of arrangement of luminous points and color lines; five-second damping
  • 8024-43  Same as 8024-42, except dial graduated quadrants

Sighting Compasses

  • Absolutely watertight
  • ABS plastic screen for improved clarity
  • 8025-10  0-360° in plastic housing
  • 8025-30  0-360° with reciprocal scale in metal housing with case
  • 8025-31  same as 8025-30 except includes built-in illumination
  • 8025-35  same as 8025-30, except includes built-in declination
  • 8025-40  quad 0-90° in metal housing with case
  • 8025-45  same as 8025-40, except includes adjustable declination
  • 8025-03  Rubber compass cover fits 8025-30, -40, -75, -90

Twin Precision Compass/Clinometers

  • Two instruments in one-precision compass and clinometer combination
  • Built-in prismatic sighting for fast field use
  • Resists corrosion, water and impact
  • Use for directional indications and slope/height measurements with and accuracy of ±0.25°
  • Compass graduations 0-360°
  • Choose clinometer scale in either degrees or degrees/percentages
  • 8025-00  Twin 360R/90L Compass/Clinometer (degrees)
  • 8025-05  Twin 360R/PCL Compass/Clinometer (degrees/percentages

Clinometers

  • Performs a number of leveling and measuring jobs
  • Use as a hand level, builder's level, optical plummet and slope indicator
  • Measures vertical angles, computes height, determines slope angles and levels for rough surveying
  • Damping liquid immerses all moving parts inside a sturdy, hermetically-sealed container for shock-free, smooth movement
  • Liquid will not freeze or evaporate, even under extreme conditions
  • Scale card supported by jewel-bearing assembly. Nothing to adjust for easy, one-hand operation.
  • No projecting or adjustable parts for one-handed, easy operation
  • Available in standard, reverse and quadrant scales of graduation
  • 8025-75  0 ± 90° scale on the left, 0 ± 150% scale on right; reads directly to 1/6th of one degree or 1/5th of one percent; nylon case
  • 8025-90  Similar to 8025-75 except 0 ± 90° scale on the left and scale for direct reading of height of objects on the right; right scale reads directly to ± 200
